"I have known Ananda for some 25 years. Whatever she has put her mind to; she has done with sharpness of eye and intensity of feeling. I have observed her subject matter, style and technique, moving through many phases, maturing into her very own unique style of today. This most recent phase of her work is a fusion of her vision, her medium, and the vibrancy of her sense of colour. The Bowie portraits were executed in oil on canvas. The other portraits were done with Pro-markers, and mixed media on heavyweight 200gsm cartridge paper."
